Go There

In part because of a personal experience with abortion, James Ackerman spent a year of Saturdays outside an abortion center in New York City.  Before committing, he asked God to wake him up at five am every week to be a simple prayerful presence offering alternatives to women going in for abortions.  God did, and as a result, a week didn’t go by that at least one woman turned around and chose life for her baby.  Fast forward a few decades and James was reminiscing about those times when it dawned on him that at least 52 men and women who are now 32 years old are alive because of his Saturday efforts.  His advice to us now is, “Go there.”  Go to the abortion centers and allow yourself to be used by the Author of Life.
