Advance Directive Implant

Advocates of euthanasia have used advance directives as a benign choice for patients to direct their healthcare.  But the next step of this slippery slope is now being pushed in called “advance directive implant.”  It’s an implant that would deploy lethal poison with the onset of dementia.  The authors admit the technology isn’t there yet but believe it’s on the horizon.  They say it’d be okay when accompanied by safeguards.  But we’ve learned those safeguards quickly disappear.  Oregon’s assisted suicide law has no state oversight and is dependent on self-reporting by doctors who kill their patients.  Rarely are patients referred to psychologists.  The authority over life and death belongs in the perfect hands of our Creator, not man.
