Tennessee Makes up for Lost Time

Bradley Mattes   |   July 02, 2020

Because of a State Supreme Court ruling, Tennessee was forced to sit on the sidelines while states like Missouri passed comprehensive pro-life legislation.  Tennessee is known as The Volunteer State and pro-life citizens went to work volunteering to pass a constitutional amendment allowing them to protect unborn babies.  Since then the Tennessee legislature has been a powerhouse of life-affirming bills.  The latest ends abortion once a heartbeat can be detected; stops discrimination abortions due to sex, race or genetic condition; bans late-term abortions because the baby can feel pain; and includes strong provisions to protect women’s right to informed consent.  God bless the state legislature and governor for making up lost time in the battle for life.  Keep going!
