Here’s a fun story. Ellie Goldstein is a British teenager with Down syndrome and is the first model with the condition to work for a Gucci Beauty campaign. Yvonne, Ellie’s mom, is proud as punch, saying she’s always loved being in the limelight and in front of the camera. Mom added, “She’s very confident, good at taking direction, and has a great memory.” This has come in handy because Ellie’s been in lots of shows and needs to memorize her lines in the scripts. How many other teenagers are able to say they took time off in London from college courses to model for Gucci? Ellie is living the dream and we couldn’t be happier, because when she and others with Down syndrome thrive, people realize they’re genuine blessings.
