Abortion used to Protect the Environment

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders recently voiced support for using tax dollars to fund abortion for poor countries in an effort to control the population.  He’s not alone in this eugenic approach.  Several environmental groups like World Wildlife Federation and Sierra Club support abortion to protect the environment from what they claim are too many people polluting the environment.  We’ve documented the pro-abortion positions of many of these groups.  You can find them on our website at life issues dot org.  Search the phrase, “environmental groups and abortion.”  Besides being unethical, these population worrywarts are wrong.  For several years, many countries have been working to reverse a population collapse, not overpopulation.
