California Governor Gets it Right

California Governor Jerry Brown has a decades-long reputation for being a far-Left liberal.  Deservedly so.  Those who’ve been around the political arena for a while remember his nickname, “Governor Moonbeam.”  But he amazed us recently when he did the right thing.  The pro-abortion governor vetoed a bill that would’ve turned the state’s public universities into satellite abortion facilities.  The legislation literally required them to stock and dispense the chemical abortion pill.  Brown correctly cited that abortion is readily available throughout the state, so the law was unnecessary.  This would’ve exposed countless women to the dangers of chemically aborting their babies on their own.  So, let’s give credit where credit is due.  Well done Governor Moonbeam!
