Here’s a case in point why we need judges who refuse to legislate from the bench and instead will strictly interpret the Constitution. U.S. District Judge David Ezra ruled against Texas legislation requiring aborted and miscarried babies be buried or cremated in a humane and dignified manner. Judge Ezra claimed the law was a “catastrophe” for the healthcare system and placed “substantial and unconstitutional obstacles in the path of a woman’s right to…abortion.” This judge isn’t following the Constitution, he’s forcing his editorialized personal beliefs on the state of Texas at the expense of women and their babies. Elections have consequences. A pro-life president who will appoint constitutionalist judges is critical to America’s future.
