Remember Dads in Ireland Aftermath

Ireland has just opened the door to killing its greatest natural resource – future generations of unborn babies.  It was one of the most pro-life nations in the world, but now abortion to 6 months will be widely available.  Tragically, the pro-abortion measure won two-to-one at the polls.  The obvious victims will be babies and their mothers, but there are others.  Often forgotten in the tragedy of abortion are the fathers.  Ireland’s vote will result in countless fathers, helpless to protect their babies, struggling with anger, grief and shame.  And they may abuse alcohol and drugs to dull the pain.  As one who counsels these grieving dads, I can tell you men hurt too.  Pro-lifers in Ireland will nobly rush to the aid of those victimized by abortion.  I pray dads are on the list.
