Cecile Richards Gets Human Rights Award

Bradley Mattes   |   May 28, 2018

Here’s another tragic irony from those who hold extreme pro-abortion positions.  The Conference on Civil and Human Rights gave Cecile Richards an award for her work to promote “civil and human rights.”  It’s ironic because Richards was the president of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest chain of abortion centers.  And the most aggressive lobbyist for abortion on demand throughout pregnancy.  The group said Planned Parenthood builds a “healthier and safer world.”  Safer for whom?  Not the millions of unborn babies they’ve killed.  And not for the countless women they’ve maimed in the process.  Richards and Planned Parenthood worked to target pregnant women of color to abort.  Seventy-nine percent of their mills are in minority neighborhoods, totally contrary to promoting civil and human rights.
