Foster Care Makes A family

Bradley Mattes   |   March 02, 2015

Kathleen and Chris Smith were left totally heartbroken when pregnancy after pregnancy ended in miscarriage.  Those who’ve lost one or more babies to miscarriage know full well the pain Kathleen and Chris endured.  The Smiths desperately wanted to parent children, so they became licensed in foster care.  As a result, infant twin boys, Jesse and Joseph, were placed in their home.  Ironically, the mother had twice scheduled an abortion, but failed to show, at the same abortion mill where the Smiths had done sidewalk counseling.  Over time the biological mother lost custody of the boys and Kathleen and Chris eagerly adopted them.  They encourage couples to step out of their comfort zone and offer their home to kids who yearn for a forever home.  God will take it from there. So please give foster parenting your prayerful consideration.
