Being Under Observation Will Cost You

We’ve only begun to see how Obamacare is hurting our medical care. If you or someone you know is on Medicare, here’s something you need to know. If you’re admitted to the hospital, pay close attention to the paperwork. If you’re classified as “under observation” Medicare will not pay hospital expenses. They will, however, if you’re admitted as “in-patient.” NBC Nightly News recently reported that Mary Jane and her husband are now stuck with a bill of twenty-eight-thousand dollars because she broke her leg in a fall, had a hospital stay and needed therapy. Hospitals are saying it’s because Medicare is becoming increasingly difficult to work with and in paying reimbursement. As healthcare rationing increases, we’ll see more sneaky ways the government is going to cut costs. Please be aware.
