The recent March for Life in Washington, DC was an especially big deal. It marked the tragic fortieth anniversary of the Supreme Court decisions legalizing abortion-on-demand throughout pregnancy. The weather was bitterly cold and it snowed for much of the March. But you should’ve seen the young people! A vast majority of the March consisted of people twenty-five and under. And they weren’t giving the inclement weather the time of day. They were smiling. They were singing. And they were chanting. Many carried home-made signs—all of them boldly standing up for life. My favorite group was four young men dressed up as super heroes. They called themselves Avengers for Life. Today’s youth are helping to make pro-life positive and mainstream. God bless them.
