Healthy Twin Adults Euthanized

Twin brothers, Marc and Eddy Verbessem, were 45 years old and deaf since birth. When Belgian doctors told these otherwise healthy men they’d soon lose their eyesight, Marc and Eddy felt life wasn’t worth living. Euthanasia’s legal in Belgium, so they asked a doctor to kill them. Belgium supposedly has strict safeguards for euthanasia. The patients must be going through unbearable suffering. But it didn’t take long for the otherwise healthy and not suffering twins to find a doctor to kill them by lethal injection. Just days after their deaths, the Socialist party introduced legislation to allow euthanasia for children and Alzheimer’s patients. In reality, half of euthanasia deaths aren’t reported and abuses are rampant. This is what we can expect if euthanasia is accepted by Americans.
