The Abortion Industry’s Iceberg

ve8QAd   |   February 10, 2012

Planned Parenthood’s Mafia-style shakedown of the Komen Foundation last week was only the tip of the abortion giant’s deadly iceberg. If you go a bit deeper, you’ll find that a shameless corruption lies at the heart of their so-called beneficial services to society.

Thankfully, there are those who work to expose such underhanded activity.

Our pro-life friends at the Alliance Defense Fund and the Susan B. Anthony List recently released a scathing report that is sure to aid Congress in investigating Planned Parenthood. Available also to the public, it details multiple instances of “waste, abuse and potential fraud” by Planned Parenthood in state and federal audits across the nation.

According to the report, at least twelve types of fraud are being committed by the abortion chain’s affiliates nationwide. This includes fraudulent billing and reimbursement by Title XIX agencies for medications or services provided in connection with abortion—illegal under federal law.

Also spelled out, are billing violations that exceed the legally-approved costs of contraceptives and potential abortion-causing drugs like Plan B. Inappropriate and incorrect billing also spills over into services not even medically necessary, multiple initial prenatal care visits, as well as initial, follow-up and postpartum services.

It’s sheer madness.

You can read the entire report for yourself.

As if brutally killing 329,445 innocent pre-born children a year wasn’’t enough, Planned Parenthood’s apparent corruption further tarnishes the legitimacy of an organization claiming to provide healthcare to those in need.

To top it off, all of this has been made possible by your tax dollars. You can thank Mr. Obama and his pro-abortion colleagues in Congress. They fight tooth and nail for Planned Parenthood every fiscal year.

Here’s a shocking fact. According to the report, $95,742,982.15 (that’s over 95 million in case you’ve lost track of the commas) in taxpayer funds has been wasted to keep nation’’s largest chain of abortion mills over a 15-year period.

In the end, Planned Parenthood may have had the upper hand in the public relations disaster they inflicted upon Komen—, along with the eager aid of the pro-abortion media. But at the same time, leaders of the abortion industry can run from the truth for only so long.

Slowly but surely, as more light shines on the brutal and deadly abortion agenda, the backs of those within Planned Parenthood’s ranks are coming closer to being pinned against the wall. This latest Congressional indictment issued against them might make it come sooner than later. As a result, they’ll ultimately have to be held accountable for their crimes against humanity.
