We Have Hope

The tragedy in Texas left innocent young children and their teachers dead.  It’s impossible to understand the dark valley these parents and family members now struggle to navigate.  Many Americans are asking, “Where was God?”  But we can’t blame this on our Heavenly Father.  Shootings like this happen because God has been excluded from family life, and school and work environments.  Where God is banned, evil can swoop in and flourish.  There’s hope for everyone struggling to make sense of this.  Isaiah 41:13 says, “I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”  Pray this blessing on everyone involved.  And accept the Lord’s promise.  Run to Jesus in prayer and let Him comfort you in His word.
