The theme of this year’s March for Life in Washington, DC is Equality Begins in the Womb. This couldn’t be more timely as minority women are systematically targeted by the abortion industry.

Life Issues Institute has conducted research that shows Planned Parenthood has located a stunning 86 percent of its abortion facilities in or near minority neighborhoods in the 25 U.S. counties with the most abortions.

Overall, Life Issues Institute’s research found that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities are within walking distance of minority neighborhoods. (Protecting Black Life map)

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Black women are three-and-a-half times more likely to have an abortion than White women, even though Blacks represent only 12.6% of the population.

Bradley Mattes, president of Life Issues institute says, “We’ve just celebrated the life of a great man, Martin Luther King, Jr. who fought tirelessly to defend Blacks. Today he would be highly critical of Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. It’s time for Roe to go so that we can finally have equality in the womb.”

Life Issues Institute is dedicated to changing hearts and minds of millions of people through pro-life education. Organizations and individuals around the world depend upon Life Issues Institute to provide the latest information and effective tools to protect innocent human life from fertilization to natural death.
