Precious Brief Memories

This week I’m shining a light on why choosing life, even under hard situations, is a blessing.  Joe Baker and his wife Ann, cofounders of a pro-life group, had three boys and prayed for a daughter.  God answered their prayers, but in a different way.  Little Ember had a condition incompatible with life.  At first, they prayed Ann would miscarry Ember to get it over with, but soon decided to love her as long as they could.  The family took Ember, while in the womb, to many of the places they had visited as newlyweds.  Ember was born and lived for one hour.  The delivery room was adorned with artwork by her brothers.  Ember’s family has cherished memories of their daughter. They made the right choice and now can help others in similar situations.
