Word Became Flesh

I’m one of those people who really loves Christmas.  You likely know someone like me.  We play Christmas music in August and celebrate Leon Day.  Look it up.  We deck our halls inside and out, go caroling and eat Christmas cookies.  At the risk of sounding like a greeting card, we keep Christmas in our hearts all year round.  Even without all the fluff, we’d still keep our passionate love for Christmas.  This week I’ll be sharing Bible passages that help me keep that Christmassy feeling alive.  I pray they do the same for you.  John 1:14 is a favorite, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”  And before Jesus ascended into heaven, he promised he’d never leave us.  So we get to enjoy the best Christmas present ever all lifelong.
