You’ve heard the accusations that pro-lifers don’t care about women, just the baby. Of course, that isn’t true and here’s another reason why. Aubrey and Bryan Schlackman felt the Lord’s calling and are embarking upon a noble quest. They want to purchase at least 100 acres in Texas to develop a working maternity ranch called Blue Haven Ranch with about twenty cottages to house pregnant women and their born children. They’ll take care of them for a year after the birth. The fully functioning ranch will raise cattle and produce to sell to be self-sustaining. Surrogate male role models and grandparents will be recruited to mentor the women and their children. They want to change the trajectory of their lives toward Jesus and successful, independent lives. God bless them.
