Christmas is upon us, my absolute favorite time of year. After the celebration is over, do you feel let down, even depressed? This week I’m sharing Bible verses that help me keep that Christmassy feeling all year round. For most people, a funeral is the furthest thing from a Christmas celebration, but it shouldn’t be. I have Christmas on the brain, but at every Christian funeral I go to, I find myself thinking this person’s enjoying an eternity of Christmases that’d make our earthly celebrations feel more like, well, a funeral. The twenty-third Psalm is often read at these sad times, and I experience a Christmas glow in the last verse. “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Amen!
