Molly gave birth to her third child by C-section and afterward was diagnosed with COVID. Her condition deteriorated, so they flew her from Lander, Wyoming to Salt Lake City. Her husband Dustin hurriedly followed, driving five and a half hours in his pickup truck. Of course this made nursing her newborn son impossible. So two of Molly’s friends and her sister sprang into action, getting mothers to donate their breast milk. One of the most touching donors was a mother who had given birth to a stillborn daughter. An estimated four hundred ounces of milk was donated from women in Wyoming, Iowa and Nebraska. Molly eventually recovered from COVID and she and Dustin are eternally grateful for the generosity and marvelous display of respect for human life.
