Speaking Truth to Power

The public feud between pro-abortion Nancy Pelosi and her pastor, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, has inspired people of all faiths.  Pelosi claims to be a devout Catholic but recently led extreme pro-abortion legislation through the US House.  Here are a few comments by her pastor regarding Pelosi’s behavior.  Referring to the legislation he said it was the kind of thing “one would expect from a devout Satanist, not a devout Catholic.”  Earlier he referred to the bill as “nothing less than child sacrifice.”  Adding, “Any reasonable person with a basic sense of morality and inkling of decency cannot but shudder in horror at such a heinous evil being codified in law.”  Talk about speaking truth to power!  Imagine the impact if every pastor in America spoke out so boldly.
