Recently the pro-life movement enjoyed a significant victory. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a Texas bill stopping dismemberment abortion was constitutional. The title of the procedure is self-explanatory; however, the Court very graphically recognized the reality of what happens to the unborn baby. What I can share on family radio is they called it “brutal” and “self-evidently gruesome.” The Court said it’s not legal to kill convicted prisoners that way, nor is it legal to kill animals in the same fashion. The Court said the State was simply extending the same protection to unborn babies. By the way, the nine justices supporting the law were nominated by Republican presidents and the five who ruled against it were nominated by Democrat presidents.
