We call it Good Friday. Why is the brutal crucifixion and death of our Savior a “good” day? Well, more than Jesus died on that cross outside Jerusalem. All of our sins, great and small, were also crucified—dead and remembered no more by our Heavenly Father. There’s no sin that isn’t covered with Christ’s blood. Not even if you’ve chosen abortion. The blood of the cross covered and paid for every sin we’ve committed. There’s one big difference between Jesus Christ and our sins that were crucified that day. Jesus walked out of the tomb, but our sins remain dead forever. Because of Good Friday, if we believe in Him, we shall be saved. Now you can see why we think of this day as Good Friday. Go share your joy with others.
