As president, Donald Trump required recipients of Title Ten tax funding to not provide or promote abortion. Planned Parenthood gave up 60-million dollars instead of getting out of the abortion business. They took Mr. Trump to court and the US Supreme Court ruled in his favor. It’s expected Biden will reverse the order, so 19 states have filed a joint motion to the Supreme Court to prevent the new president from forcing them to provide tax funding of abortion. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost who’s leading the effort said, “I’m intervening to stop it, no matter what the president’s personal agenda may be.” A clear majority of the Americans are with this effort. A recent Marist poll showed a double-digit margin opposing taxpayer funding of abortion.
