Tomorrow’s the sixteenth anniversary of the barbaric killing of Terri Schiavo by dehydration and starvation. I asked Mary, Terri’s mother, and siblings Bobby and Suzanne what they want Americans to remember about her. Mary said, “As a mother, I wish people would’ve known my daughter. Terri was funny, with a contagious laugh, a fighting spirit, and an undeniable will to live. Bobby continues to marvel at the number of people who still reach out saying “she continues to touch hearts and impact the lives of so many.” Suzanne said, “she was loved and an important member of our family. No disability makes someone’s life disposable.” Please keep Terri’s family in your prayers. Hear more from the family in my blog, The Latest, at lifeissues.org.
