President of Guatemala Takes Bold Stand

It’s almost Thanksgiving!  Seems like we just took down the Christmas tree.  One of the things I’m grateful for is the President of Guatemala.  His Interior Minister made a deal with Planned Parenthood, allowing it to come into the country.  When the pro-life president heard about it, he was outraged.  “I recognize life from its conception, and therefore, in my government, I will not tolerate any movement that violates what is provided in our…Constitution…that goes against the values with which I was raised and conflicts with my principles as [a] doctor.”  The third article of the Constitution “safeguards and protects human life from conception.”  The Interior Minister resigned, probably before he was fired.  I thank God for world leaders like Guatemala’s president.  Happy Thanksgiving!
