Takes More Than Window Dressing

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is removing the name of Margaret Sanger from their abortion facility.  And they’re talking with city officials to have her name taken off a street sign.  Planned Parenthood cites their founder’s support of eugenics, the use of selective breeding to make a better race.  They also oppose Sanger’s speech to a group of the Ku Klux Klan, her support for a policy that sterilized people with disabilities, and banning immigrants with disabilities.  Too bad it’s taken them this long to react to Sanger’s racist agenda.  It could have something to do with Planned Parenthood’s current racist agenda.  Seventy-nine percent of their abortion mills are located in neighborhoods of women of color.  It takes more than window dressing to end racism. And it’s time to end their federal funding.
