You’ve heard heartwarming accounts of how creative families are staying in touch during the pandemic. Jody Olm’s ninety-year-old mother, Freda, lives in a retirement home which doesn’t allow visitors. This has been a challenge for Jody who has Down syndrome and not only misses her mom but has been a volunteer at the center. So nearly every day Jody can be found outside her mother’s window, singing Barney’s “I Love You” song. Jody said,“Singing is the best thing to do. I feel so happy and so glad that I will see her.” Her song also brings joy to staff working at the center. Learn more why people like Jody are such a blessing and what we’re doing to protect them from abortion.
