Susan B Anthony

This year marks 100 years since passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.  Saturday marks the 200th birthday of early suffragist Susan B. Anthony who worked tirelessly for the rights of women.  What many people don’t realize is early advocates of women’s rights were staunchly pro-life.  A quote attributed to Anthony said abortion “will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death.”  And she referred to abortionists as “child murderers.”  Now compare that with modern-day feminists who advocate for abortion on demand, throughout pregnancy.  For example, Paige Alexandria recently wrote a column defending a friend who had two abortions in three months.  Real Feminists don’t kill babies.
