November is National Adoption Month, so it’s appropriate to share this encouraging news from the White House. President Trump’s administration has proposed a new rule to protect religious liberty and help kids who need to be adopted. President Obama decreed that faith-based adoption agencies can’t receive federal funding unless they followed guidelines conflicting with their faith. This has forced adoption and foster care agencies – administered by people who have a heart for helping children and families – to choose between acting on Biblical truths or closing down. In many areas of society, faith-based agencies are the backbone of assisting the downtrodden, homeless and orphans. President Trump is reversing this gross overreach by Obama and, we thank him.
