Make Dads Accountable

A recent study published in the Journal of Adolescent Health is a thinly veiled attempt to get men to support abortion.  The team at the University of Utah announced male adolescents are “abortion beneficiaries.”  Because they “reap financial [career] benefits” from staying in college.  Clearly, they’re trying to appeal to the male self-interest.  What women really need, is the father of her baby at her side, supporting her and the child.  Noninvasive blood tests can now be done early in pregnancy to determine paternity of the baby, and a woman is more likely to choose life if she knows she’s not alone.  This technology could advance laws that require accountability from fathers to provide child support during the time of pregnancy and beyond.
