13 Reasons Why

I pray for the day Netflix will be held accountable for their programming.  The series, 13 Reasons Why, glamorizes death by suicide.  The teen character dies by suicide and leaves messages for 13 youth explaining why they’re responsible.  After its first season, three teenage deaths were directly attributed to the program.  Anna Bright died after binge-watching.  She even replicated the method of suicide and the scene presented in the series.  Two other teens also died by suicide after watching the controversial program.  Talk to your children about suicide.  Read them Jeremiah 29:11 and other scriptures.  And visit lifeissues.org for more information on the program and resources on suicide.  Click on the microphone icon.
