Love Saves Lives and Changes Hearts

The theme of this year’s March for Life in Washington, DC is Love Saves Lives.  These three little words contain the blueprint for changing hearts and minds on abortion.  When there’s an angry pro-abortion statement on social media or in conversation, you can respond in one of two ways.  You may be tempted to react in kind, but it probably won’t change their mind on abortion.  Instead, you can respond in love.  Express empathy that abortion is a difficult decision, complicated by life’s many tough challenges.  Then turn your comments to the need to combine the rights of unborn babies and their mothers.  Share the scientific beauty of life in the womb and advocate a message of Love Them Both.  Remember, anger doesn’t create allies, but Love Saves Lives.
