Two of my favorite things are babies and Christmas, and it’s nice how well they go together. A baby born in the lowliest of circumstances became the Savior of the world and that’s worth celebrating! However, if Planned Parenthood had been around during Herod’s time, they would’ve gladly given the murderous king peace of mind by doing the dirty work for him. Mary was a young, unwed girl and pregnancy outside of marriage was a crime worth stoning. Attitudes have changed since then, but now she’d be a primary target of the abortion industry. Such a child, they would say, can’t amount to anything positive for society. Abortion advocates would’ve been wrong then and they’re wrong today. God has a plan for every life and we must protect them. Merry Christmas!
