Josh and Carrie Briggs have eight children. These days eight’s an unusually large number of kids, but how they got them is even more unusual. Numbers seven and eight were twins, just like the previous two sets. That’s right; Josh and Carrie have naturally conceived three sets of twins. This is in addition to the two singletons. Carrie has the right frame of mind in this situation, “It’s completely the Lord saying I have a plan for your family to have twins and several sets,” she said. Josiah, the eldest brother, was thrilled to meet the latest pair, which tells me it’s a household that values each and every human life as a gift from God. The Lord doesn’t expect all of us to have eight kids, but He does want us to welcome all those He gives us with open arms.
