Weddings are for Family and Love

Not only are we concerned about abortion at Life Issues, we also work to protect vulnerable people from euthanasia at the end of life.  Here’s a heartwarming story of how newlyweds are living their respect for life.  On their wedding day, Brian and Lauren Kurtulik would be excused if they were totally absorbed with the festivities.  But Brian’s ninety-one year old grandmother was already dressed up when she injured her ankle the day of the wedding and was heartsick she couldn’t attend.  So between the wedding and reception, Brian and Lauren stopped by the hospital to see her.  It totally made everyone’s day, because a month later his grandmother died.  Isn’t that what weddings are for—family and love?  Brian and Lauren said it was their best decision of the day.
