The older I get the faster time flies by. That’s probably true with you also. It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving Day has already arrived. And what an important day this is. So if you’re like me—tempted to let Christmas override Thanksgiving—go to a quiet place, still your heart and speak to the Lord. Thank Him for the wonderful blessings He’s heaped on you. Thank Him also for the challenges He’s given you that are now bearing positive fruit in your life. Thank Him for your gift of life—both temporal and eternal. And please ask Him to intervene with women who are scheduled for abortions in the days ahead. Women who’ll be thanking God next Thanksgiving for the tremendous blessing of a child they nearly didn’t have. Your prayer can save lives.
