Father’s Day is on Sunday, so I asked listeners to share their cherished memories of Dear Old Dad. Here are a few. Evelyn wrote, “My dad isn’t perfect, but he taught me how to have confidence and how to respect myself—especially when I was dating.” Sheryle recalled that at her father’s funeral, an unknown woman told the family, “My late husband worked with your dad and spoke so highly of him I just had to come and pay my respects.” Sheryle added, “My dad had been retired for thirty years. After all that time, his integrity was still remember.” Selah wrote, “I remember him pulling several jobs to make ends meet for our family.” J. Lee said, “I learned many things through observance. Some good, some bad, but it taught me integrity.” Well said everyone.
