Our love turns to special people on Valentine’s Day. On my short list are the many women who become unexpectedly pregnant and make a loving adoption plan for their babies. These heroic mothers can teach us a thing or two about true love. They love their babies enough to know they can’t give them the essentials. They possess a love strong enough to put their needs behind their baby’s. After placement, their love doesn’t go away. It stays for a lifetime. Maybe you’re adopted; know someone who is, or know of mothers whose love moved them to make an adoption plan. Please commit with me today to pray for these amazing women. Pray God would grant them peace and joy when their hearts turn to their babies on Valentine’s Day. Adoption is a plan that both mother and her baby can live with.
