Cincinnati, OH (Jan 22, 2014) – Today, the National Pro-Life Religious Council presented Brad Mattes, CEO of Life Issues Institute, with the prestigious honor of the National Pro-Life Recognition Award. The award was presented during the 20th annual National Memorial for the Preborn and Their Mothers and Fathers. Hundreds of clergy and guests gathered at the interdenominational service to pray for an end to abortion.
Accepting the award Brad Mattes stated, “After 41 years of legalized abortion-on-demand, I’m humbled by the work of all who’ve dedicated their lives to protecting the unborn. I consider myself privileged to be counted among them. God bless the National Pro-Life Religious Council, as these are admirable individuals who set an example by living their faith and tirelessly defending the right to life.“
Brad Mattes is host and executive producer of the weekly pro-life television show, Facing Life Head-On. The program has earned three Regional Emmy® Awards. He is also the host of Life Issues, a daily radio commentary carried on over 1,100 outlets. In addition, Brad serves as president of the International Right to Life Federation and is a frequent speaker on abortion and related life issues.
