Mothers Get 3D Models of Unborn Baby

A new technology may relegate 3D ultrasound to the past, alongside the fax machine. A company in Tokyo is producing the ultimate gift for expectant parents. A multi-step process converts an MRI scan of the mother’s womb into a 3-dimensional resin model of her unborn baby. It’s called Shape of an Angel and comes in an attractive pink and white gift box. It’s the perfect conversation piece for the work or home environment, and an amazing tool to show the beauty of unborn life. Of course it doesn’t come cheap. The 3D model is about twelve-hundred dollars. But, like everything else, the price will come down. Maybe, in the future, crisis pregnancy centers will be able to make a woman’s baby even more real to her. There’s no mistake—abortion’s on a collision course with reality.
