Abortion is a Cancer

Once in a while, I’’m reminded abortion inflicts a lifetime sentence on more than the baby and mother. Abortion’’s a cancer, maiming and killing everyone it its wake. A woman recently wrote me that after more than 60 years, she still mourns for her brother or sister who was aborted. And she mourns for the other siblings who miscarried as a result of the abortion. Although born prematurely, she lived, but is the only child to survive. It’’s a lonely feeling knowing your family’’s gone because of abortion. This woman, who lost her husband in Vietnam, clings to God’’s grace and the blessing of her three children and seven grandchildren. One is a special needs child, but this grandmother, more than others, knows just how precious each and every life is. God bless her.
