Life Issues Radio Transcript for March 18, 2010:
Mugged by Ultrasound
A fascinating and revealing article appeared recently in the Weekly Standard. The title pretty much said it all, “Mugged by Ultrasound.” The authors listed, by example, the many abortionists and abortion mill staff who came face-to-face with the ugly reality of their trade and bolted from the abortion industry. Bernard Nathanson, one of the founders of the radical pro-abortion group, NARAL, ran the largest abortion mill in the western hemisphere. He personally did over sixty-thousand abortions. Because of ultrasound, he and others came to the realization they were killing people, not blobs of tissue. This technology has opened a window to the womb and is responsible for saving millions of unborn babies.
And it’s helped to change the hearts and minds of even more Americans on abortion.
