Life Issues - host Brad Mattes - pro-life radio commentary

Life Issues Radio Transcript for March 12, 2010:

Cruel Response to the Poor

Marie Stopes is the British equivalent of Planned Parenthood. The organization recently bragged about having done nearly one-million abortions around the world last year. Most of its deadly work was admittedly in poor and developing countries, in rural areas and in urban slums. Leaders of the group say abortion is needed most in poverty-stricken places. Christ said a lot of things in the Bible about the downtrodden and needy. While on earth He demonstrated a clear passion for them and implored us to help them. What Jesus said was “Feed the poor, clothe them and love them.” He didn’t say kill the poor. Where people are crying out most for basic necessities of life, organizations like Marie Stopes and Planned Parenthood are offering abortion instead.
