Horrible but True

It sounds like a fictitious horror story but it’s actually true. Two so-called doctors wrote an ethics paper. They advocate aborting babies at will because their nervous systems aren’t developed as well as yours and mine. They say doctors and mothers have an “obligation” to abort babies who are disabled by inducing early delivery. And if the mother changes her mind after the premature baby is born, the abortionist has the right to kill the child against the will of the mother. Only those with Neanderthal-type ethics could advocate such cruelty against helpless babies, and think they had the ability to grant moral status to another human being. Worse yet, the article was published in a prestigious medical journal. It’s an example of why our country is in such a sorry state.
