Life Issues Radio Transcript for January 28, 2010:
Abortion Closing Canadian Schools
Ontario, Canada is closing a record number of schools because of their low birthrate. And abortion is at the heart of the problem. People for Education, an education advocacy organization, says well over three hundred Ontario schools face closure during the next three years because their enrolment is declining. Even the increase in population, due to Canada’s substantial immigration, doesn’t offset
this decline. Blame can be placed in large part on abortion. Many of Ontario’s citizens are being killed in the womb. Every child not given the right to life is one less student in a school. Collectively, abortion is having an adverse effect not only on education. Ontario’s experiencing an aging society with fewer young, tax-paying individuals,
compared to an increasing number of senior citizens.
