Life Issues Radio Transcript for January 14, 2010:
The World is Watching
The world is somberly watching as reports come in from Haiti. Port-au-Prince is considered home to the poorest of poor—certainly the poorest in the western hemisphere. Total destruction and devastation are words commonly used by those who are there and witness to resultant carnage from this massive earthquake. It’s a profound reminder of the sacredness of life—the preciousness of life. Please keep the people of Haiti in your daily prayers. And if you’re given the opportunity to assist in some tangible way, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” May your love for Christ and innocent human life move you to do
whatever you can for the least of these brothers and sisters of Jesus.
