George Tiller Murdered

The news made me sick to my stomach. George Tiller, a notorious late-term abortionist in Wichita, Kansas, was murdered Sunday morning. Police arrested a suspect in the shooting. Mr. Tiller was involved in the vilest job I can think of—killing unborn babies throughout pregnancy. Even so, you and I must emphatically condemn his murder. It was a direct contradiction of the philosophy and mission of the pro-life movement. Further, it could very well set our movement back twenty years. Imagine the impact this will have on those on the fence regarding abortion. With the help of a hostile media, all pro-lifers will be painted with the same broad brush of radical and murderous activism. It’s a tragic day for the Tiller family, and for unborn babies. Please pray for God’s mercy on everyone involved, and wisdom as we move forward.
