Call the White House

During President Obama’s speech at Notre Dame University, he said, “Let’s honor the conscience of those who disagree with abortion,” referring to conscience regulations President Bush put in place. They protect medical professionals who don’t want to participate in abortion. Mr. Obama is in the process of scraping those regulations. His speech was a clear indication of where he’s going with this. He wants a conscience clause that in his words, “respect the equality of women.” These are code words for abortion. He will likely replace the current good conscience clause with a worthless one. Please call the White House and tell him to leave the current conscience clause in place.
